What happens in the end of "What Lies Beneath?"?

When i was younger I watched the film What Lies Beneath. At the part (if you havent seen the film dont read this next bit!!!) where her husband see's her all grey and dead in the bath I freaked out and was weary of it. I got to the part where she's driving in the car with her husband trying to stab her and they see the ghost in the road. Then I turned it off cos i was creeped. What happens after that? I heard people say the ending isnt good, thanks for answering x
