What would have been the consequences if Saddam Hussein had invaded Saudi Arabia and taken over Oil Wells?

As we approach the 21st Anniversary of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait on August 2, 1990 the World economy would have been in chaos if Saddam ruled 30% of the World's Oil supply. As a Gulf War I veteran I am proud to have served my nation to liberate Kuwait.
