Do catholics believe in the end of the world?

like protestants they believe that christ is coming and the wars and stuff like that, are sign of the end of the world or the second coming of Christ, I know the catholicism believes in the second coming of christ but I am not sure what makes the difference between protestantism with catholicism visions of the end of the world
