Major congestion--running out of ideas?

You might want to ask your pediatrician for a prescription for a nasal spray like Nasonex. It is not widely prescribed for younger children but my daughter was about 4 months old and got sick and the congestion just would not go away. She would wake up because of the congestion even after trying all the things you mentioned you have done for your son. What the Nasonex does is help reduce the swelling in the nasal pages. Anyway, the Nasonex did work and helped her breathe so much better. I hope this helps. Good luck.
