Purchasing a Car at 18 with no credit?

Im turning 18 in a week and I was looking to purchase a car. Their is a slight problem I have no credit and it will be hard to get a co signer. I have 4000 saved up and the car costs 11,500. How hard will it be for me to get a loan and how would I go about doing so. I am also going off to college in a couple of months.
