Does she like me? should i ask her out?

ok were both 13 goin into 8th grade. id say were friends but idk. she was in my homeroom last year and we talked a bit but until about this may we never really talked much. i asked for her number she seemed happy that i asked and gave it to me. we were also doing some "olympics" outside for school and she kind of cheered for me. i askes people to sign my shirt on the last day of school and she asked if she could sign. we both are goin to a basketball camp next week so we talk there. when we text she always puts alot of ! and sometimes puts smiles. and she says haha in almost all her texts. usually she asks how football practice was wen i txt her. and the other day i told her i was gettin and mri for my knee cause it was messed up and she said somethin like "what happened?!!?!!? Alex!! haha" and she said she hoped it got better an good luck. then the next day she texts me first sayin hey ill cya at the y since me her and others were planning to play basketball there. so does she like me? should i ask her out? sorry this is long and thanks
