I am 85 years old and need help?
The year was 1928 Berlin Germany, I was brought into this world by my mother Eva Vencent. My Father, a proud member of the imperial German Navy from 1915 to 1918 was off at his politicial career at the Reichstag trying his hardest to keep the Nazis from power. Over the next few years my father would come home every now and then and talk to us about how Hitler was making his way to the top with his speeches, and how Hindenbourg would die before giving him the right to be fuhrher. 1934, Hindenbourg dies, Adolf Hitler takes power. The following weeks were followed by murder of Anti-Nazi and communist party members. I am haunted by him. In one of his parades he drove his car by me and shook my hand. And was yelling "Heil Hitler" and "Ein veich thei Reich". The next years were the jewish gettos and the holocaust, the invasion of poland, battle of britain, Operation Barbossa, African Campaign. But let me skip to 30th of April 1945. My father was long dead just after D-Day. But i was 15 and thrown into the front lines wich were right in front of my apartments and about a kilometre from Hitlers bunker. All of his soldiers were either dead or in the front lines, while the waffen SS were cowarding back and leaving the country. Well back to me, i was controlling the flack cannon, wich by then we were using as artillery to destroy the soviet tanks but we had no hope. My 10 year old brother Adolf Named after Hitler was shot in the head right in front of my eyes. My captain was shot, and my comrades were all killing themselves. Who was left of my unit retreated towards an abandoned hospital and held there for one night. The next moring i heard russian soldiers and 5 russian tanks come by. We couldnt do anything. We had one rocket in our panzercshrek and i had 2 clips for my MP40 and my Walther had one clip 6 shots. We let them p and watched as they marched into a apartment building and d all the women inside. I would share more but i cant type anymore than this.
